Cour Jamot. A beautiful Normandy holiday hideaway.....

Welcome to our website.  Here you will find more information and pictures regarding our holiday home in the Pays D'Auge, Calvados.

The house is set in it's own private 3 acres of grounds and gardens and is a traditional colombage (beamed) Normandy long house.

The accommodation consists of:

Front entrance into kitchen, complete with solid wood cupboards, granite worktops, dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave and all the utensils you would wish for.

This leads into the beamed dining room/living room with a table and 8 chairs, TV(English channels), video player, CD player, sofas and a huge open fire and a double height ceiling at the living room end.

There is also an oak framed conservatory on the back of the house offereing another dining option with wooden tables and 8 chairs.

Up 3 steps will take you to the main double bedroom (double bed, kingsize duvet) which overlooks the garden, from this room a small staircase leads to a lovely single bedroom (suitable for a child).

Down the stairs there is another single bedroom and a separate wc, shower room with basin and bidet.

At the other end of the house behind the kitchen there is another bathroom (shower cubicle, wc, basin) and a laundry room with washing machine.

Up the stairs to a twin bedroom (2 single beds) leading to a second double bedroom which overlooks the living area through curtained beams to ensure privacy.

Due to the nature of the house and there being a lot of steps we regret that it is unsuitable for people with walking difficulties.

Rentals are from Sunday to Sunday with prices ranging from £275 per week in low season (Jan - Feb/Nov) to £595 per week in July and August.

The house is easily accessible from most of the channel ports with Le Havre and Caen being the closest at just over an hours drive away.  Shorter crossings are available to Calais and would be just over 3 - 31/2 hours drive away.
